OPERATORS - Lakeside Sessions & Live Bootleg
The Operators first show was on May 25, 2002.
(Well, technically the second show because we were coerced into playing prematurely at Chris Venner's houseparty a couple weeks before without Mikey's sax.)
We played at the Powerplant (UofA) opening up for the likes of Chris Murray & The Kingpins. Our radio friend DJ Mick Sleeper recorded a bootleg of this first show. Check his cameo appearance at the end of Stop n Think!

Operators then played with bands like The Frenetics, General Rudie, The Hoodwinks, and The Accident leading into the summer months. We then packed up all our gear and headed out to Bradley's family cabin for a weekend in August of music, friendship, and irresponsible firework use. The result of that weekend was the infamous Lakeside Sessions recording. Only 150 numbered copies of the recording existed until now!
Here is the Lakeside Sessions in all it's glory!
